Tajon Buchanan will join Inter this January, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has given his famous, ‘Here we go’.

Inter have secured their priority and arguably emergency January target, Canada and Club Brugge winger, Tajon Buchanan. Months ago, it was likely that Inter would not be making any moves in the January window- until Juan Cuadrado continued to suffer with Achilles Tendon issues and decided to undergo surgery, keeping him out for around 3 months.

Buchanan reportedly agreed personal terms with Inter ‘weeks ago’ and the clubs have finalized a deal worth €7M + €3M in add-ons. The Canadian international is expected to arrive in Milan on Wednesday, January 3 with medical examinations and official contract signing scheduled for the next day. It remains to be seen whether Inter’s newest addition will be called up for the first match of the new year, a home match against Hellas Verona on Saturday, January 6.

Tajon Buchanan becomes the first male Canadian player to arrive in Serie A and play for Inter, as well as the 52nd different unique nationality to represent Inter. Truly living up to the name, ‘Internazionale’.
