Super Cup action, league games and Coupe de France: Our loanees were involved in plenty of big games over the past seven days! It’s time to take a closer look.
In Serie A, Monza faced off against Hellas Verona at home, drawing 0-0. Valentín Carboni came off the bench in the 62nd minute for Dany Mota.
Martin Satriano‘s Brest had two games in two competitions within the past seven days, first on Wednesday against PSG in the Coupe de France, where the Uruguayan started and saw 71 minutes before coming off in a 1-3 loss, knocking Brest out of the competition. Satriano missed the league game away at Clermont Foot, which ended 1-1, due to illness.
St. Gallen went away to Basel in the Swiss Super League, where they narrowly lost 0-1. Mattia Zanotti started and saw the full 90 minutes for his side.
Nikola Iliev returned to competitive action with his side CSKA 1948, as they played Ludogorets Razgrad in the Bulgarian Super Cup final. They lost 2-4 on penalties, with the game ending 1-1 after 90 minutes. Iliev started and was substituted off at half time.
Sampdoria faced off against Pisa away in Serie B, losing 0-2. Filip Stanković and Sebastiano Esposito both started the game, with the goalkeeper seeing the full 90 minutes and Sebastiano being substituted off after 65 minutes.
In the battle of two loanees, Franco Carboni‘s Ternana hosted Francesco Pio Esposito‘s Spezia at home, with the game ending in a 1-1 draw. Carboni saw the full 90 minutes, Pio Esposito came off the bench seeing 26 minutes.
Cosenza went away to Modena on Saturday, drawing 1-1. Alessandro Fontanarosa made a short substitute appearance in the 87th minute.

In Serie C, Aurora Pro Patria had two games over the past seven days. First, they faced Pergolettese at home on Saturday, winning 2-0. Three days later, they went up against Padova at home, where they lost 0-2. William Rovida saw the full 90 minutes during both games, keeping a clean sheet in the first game. Andrea Moretti saw the full 90 minutes in the first game and was substituted on in the 38th minute against Padova.
