We are rounding up another matchday of football, with the boys now back playing in numbers thanks to the return of Serie B. Furthermore, there’s a new face amongst our loanees! It’s time to dive into the details of the last seven days.
In the last week, Inter sent out another one of their talents on loan, Jan Zuberek. The Polish youngster, who played for the Primavera during the first half of the season, joins fellow loanees Gabriel Brazão and Franco Carboni at Ternana until the end of the season. We wish him all the best!
In Serie A, Monza were defeated 1-5 at home by Inter, with Valentín Carboni starting & seeing the full 90 minutes against his parent club.
Over in France, Brest secured a 2-0 win at home over Montpellier. Martin Satriano came off the bench and saw 14 minutes of action.
On Sunday, Sampdoria went away to Venezia, losing 3-5 as Filip Stanković started and saw the full 90 minutes.
Ternana started their 2024 with an away trip to Bari, where they lost 1-3. Both new loanees instantly got involved in the action, as Franco Carboni started and saw 68 minutes, whilst Jan Zuberek was simultaneously substituted on in the same minute.
Francesco Pio Esposito started and saw the full 90 minutes for Spezia in their 4-0 loss away at Como.
On Friday, another freshly signed loanee made his debut. Eddie Salcedo was substituted on for Lecco with 10 minutes left to play, as they lost 3-5 away to Catanzaro.
Aurora Pro Patria defeated Novara 3-0 at home, with both William Rovida and Andrea Moretti starting & playing the full 90 minutes. The latter managed to get himself on the scoresheet in the 80th minute, which was his fourth goal of the season (remarkable for a centreback!).
On Saturday, Fermana went away to Pontedera losing 0-4. Jacopo Gianelli started & saw 81 minutes, before being forced to come off due to an injury.
