Inter, among other top European clubs, is interested in making an offer for Lens and Argentina defender, Facundo Medina.
According to the information of Sebastien Denis, a French journalist at Foot Mercato, Inter, AC Milan, Juventus and an unnamed English club have been following Medina and are ‘very interested in the idea of submitting an offer to RC Lens’.
The 24-year-old arrived at Lens for a reported €4M in 2020 and now, would not be allowed to leave by the French club for less than €20M- he is valued at €22M by Transfermarkt. From what Foot Mercato has gathered, the Argentine feels very comfortable in Lens and the club is even working on offering him a contract extension despite renewing at the beginning of 2023 until 2026.
Facundo Medina is a 1.84m / 6-foot tall defender. Being left-footed, Medina plays primarily as a left centre-back but has played as a left-back or right centre-back in the past. The defender played every minute of Lens’ UEFA Champions League group stage this season, providing one assist, and has played every minute for Lens in 14 out of 15 minutes he has featured in Ligue 1, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
In the past, it was reported by FCInter1908 that Facundo Medina had been offered to Inter in 2022 ahead of a then-expiring contract in June 2023.
