Francesco Camarda became the youngest debutant in Serie A history earlier this season, making his official Serie A debut for AC Milan aged 15 years and 260 days old as the Rossoneri beat Fiorentina 1-0 in November 2023.

The young forward has been making waves across social media for years, as his goalscoring record for AC Milan’s youth teams is nothing less than exceptional, a whopping 400+ goals at the age of only 15 years old. This season, Camarda has scored 12 goals for the AC Milan under-19 squad and made 29 appearances across all competitions.

According to a report in today’s edition of Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport as relayed by FCInter1908, Inter is among many top European clubs tracking Camarda for the future. The teenager will turn 16 years old on Sunday, March 10 and he will be eligible to sign his first professional contract. Despite a fairytale story so far, Camarda’s future at AC Milan is uncertain. Many Italian clubs have inquired about his situation, including Inter who reportedly “likes him a lot” and there is movement from top Premier League clubs such as Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur who have all sent scouts to watch the young forward.

As soon as Francesco Camarda turns 16 on Sunday, he will be free to sign a professional contract for any club, in theory. For this reason, AC Milan is working hard and would like to offer a 3-year deal, the maximum amount for players under the age of 18. This contract would come into effect in June and would theoretically last until June of 2027. The coming days will be decisive for the future of this young Italian super-talent.
