Plenty of goals as well as the return of leagues from winter break are the focus for this week’s update on our loan players. Let’s take a closer look at everyone’s performances!

It was a tough weekend for Monza as they went away to Empoli, losing 0-3. Valentín Carboni came off the bench and saw 23 minutes.

Lucien Agoumé was involved in both a Copa del Rey and La Liga fixture, with his side Sevilla beating Getafe 3-1 away on Tuesday last week, where the French U21 international saw 10 minutes off the bench. On Sunday, the away trip ended less successful, with a 1-5 defeat to Girona as Agoumé saw 13 minutes of action.

On Saturday evening, Brest went away to Trelissac in the Coupe de France, where they won 2-1. Martin Satriano started and saw the full 90 minutes as he helped complete the comeback of his side, scoring in the 88th minute to win the game.

In Belgium, Standard Liège returned to league action with a home game against Kortrijk, losing 0-1. Zinho Vanheusden started and saw the full 90 minutes.

As the Swiss Pro League returns, St. Gallen went away to Lausanne on Saturday, where they won 1-0. Mattia Zanotti started and completed the full 90 minutes.

Filip Stanković and Sampdoria had a tough matchup, as they lost 0-3 against Serie B leaders Parma. The Serbian started and saw the full 90 minutes in goal.

On Saturday, Ternana faced off against Cittadella at home & won 3-1. Newly acquired loan signing Franco Carboni got himself on the scoresheet in what was only the second game for his new temporary club. The defender saw the full 90 minutes and also received a yellow card in the 9th minute.

Spezia suffered a home defeat to Cremonese on Saturday afternoon, as they lost 0-1. Francesco Pio Esposito started and saw the full 90 minutes.

Eddie Salcedo made a substitute appearance for Lecco, seeing 32 minutes in their home game against Pisa. The Italian received a yellow card in the 62nd minute.

In Italy’s third tier, Aurora Pro Patria went away to Arzignano, winning 1-0. Both William Rovida and Andrea Moretti started and saw the full 90 minutes, keeping a clean sheet.

On Sunday, Fiorenzuola made a successful away trip to AlbinoLeffe as they won 2-1. Alessandro Silvestro came off the bench in the 84th minute to help see out the game.

Fermana had to digest another defeat on Sunday, as they were defeated by Gubbio 0-2 at home. Jacopo Gianelli started and saw 66 minutes before being substituted off. The youngster received a yellow card in the 37th minute.
