Goals, assists, comebacks! Our loanees were involved in lots of action once again, here are all the details from the recent matchday.

Great news to start off this week’s roundup, as Gaetano Oristanio made his long awaited return from injury last weekend! The attacking midfielder came off the bench in the 76th minute for Cagliari as they hosted Napoli on Sunday, holding the title holders to a 1-1 draw. Great to see you back, Gaetano!

Monza continue their great run of form, as they went away to Salerno to take on Salernitana on Saturday. Valentín Carboni started the game once again, seeing 82 minutes before coming off as his side won 2-0.

Martin Satriano made the return into Brest’s starting XI, as they went away to Strasbourg, winning 3-0 and getting closer to league leaders PSG in the Ligue 1 table. The Uruguayan saw 84 minutes of action, assisting Mahdi Camara’s second goal. His teammate ended up securing a hattrick, scoring all three goals.

Standard Liège had a difficult away game at Union St. Gilloise, where they ended up losing 2-1. Zinho Vanheusden started and was taken off at half time, receiving a yellow card in the 34th minute.

On Sunday, Nikola Iliev‘s CSKA 1948 faced off against Slavia Sofia at home, drawing the game 1-1. The Bulgarian saw 26 minutes off the bench, receiving a yellow card during stoppage time.

In the first of two loanee encounters, Cosenza narrowly lost to Sampdoria 1-2 at home. Alessandro Fontanarosa started and saw the full 90 minutes. The centre back was shown a yellow card after 15 minutes. On the away side, Filip Stanković also played out the full 90 minutes.

The second encounter happened when Ternana hosted Lecco at their home ground, where the game ended goalless. Franco Carboni started for the home side and came off after 86 minutes of action. On the other side, Eddie Salcedo saw 8 minutes off the bench.

Spezia also played out a 0-0 draw last weekend, as they went away to Modena on Sunday. Francesco Pio Esposito was once again substituted on, seeing 13 minutes of action for his side.

In the third division of Italy, Aurora Pro Patria hosted Renate at home, losing 1-3. Andrea Moretti started and saw the full 90 minutes in the left centre back position.

Foggia had a tough encounter at home, facing Crotone on Monday evening.
